Category F & Category D

A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is a court-appointed professional who investigates, analyzes, and reports on facts related to cases before the Probate Court.

Court Appointed Guardian ad Litem (GAL) – Category F

Pamela is a Category F GAL appointed by the Court to investigate custody disputes and provide objective information about the child’s best interest. As a Category F GAL/investigator, Pamela meets with the parties, children, and witnesses and reports on facts regarding issues including, but not limited to, custody, visitation, domestic abuse, and/or the removal of a minor child from the state.

Court Appointed Guardian ad Litem (GAL) – Category D

The Category D GAL ensures that the protected person’s financial affairs are managed responsibly and their rights are protected. Pamela is a Category D Guardian ad Litem appointed to assist the Probate Court with conservatorship matters and estate administration matters.
